Pack 831 Help Wanted

Looking for a way to be involved with your son’s Cub Scout Pack? Want to be a part of our Team? Volunteer for one or more of these positions and get even more out of your Cub Scout experience. We need people for the following positions:

Pack Secretary — Job duties include: maintain up-to-date information on membership, leadership, and advancement. Handle Pack correspondence. Basically keeping track of the pack paperwork, not necessarily doing all of the paperwork, but keeping it safe and orderly.

Advancement Chair - maintain the Individual Scout Records, keep track of Advancement Forms, promote the wearing of uniforms and proper insignia, and help with the advancement ceremonies.

Training Chair — This person will keep track of our video lending library, and will track and encourage Leader Training.

Public Relations Chair — Someone to help us promote our Pack, inside our pack as well as in our community. There are several ways to do this. Media, press releases, public service, Round-up, etc.

Outings Chair — This person will submit the form required for each outing our Pack plans. He or she will keep track of those forms for the Pack.

Tiger Den Leader — All meetings will be planned by using the Programming Guides provided by BSA. This person will just pick out the parts that work for each meeting and will also work with the Tiger parents to share the meeting planning. Den Leader will be responsible for keeping track of Tiger Achievements, Electives and promotions.*

*All Den Leaders will be required to attend training provided by our District. All Den Leaders will help with Pack Meetings and Outings.
